Modern music singer-songwriter Song Sohee, who has pioneered her own genre, has joined Authentic.
On the 23rd, Authentic said, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with singer-songwriter Song Sohee, who is opening a new terrain in K-music," and added, "We will spare no support so that Song Sohee's musical color, described as a single 'genre,' can stand out more clearly."
Song Sohee, who began music as a gyeonggi minyo sori-garo from a young age, has since steadily expanded her own musical world as a singer-songwriter. Grounded in tradition while experimenting across genre boundaries, she has established an independent position as a "modern music singer-songwriter."
In particular, Song Sohee began with the 2022 single 'Journey to Utopia' (구름곶 여행 : Journey to Utopia) and went on to release the 2023 singles "Infodemics" and "세상은 요지경 (Asurajang)," the 2024 EP "공중무용" and single "Not a Dream," and the 2025 EP "Re:5," each further imprinting her musical identity more distinctly.
Song Sohee opened this year's domestic music festival activities by performing on the stage of "The Glow 2026 (THE GLOW 2026)" held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi, on the 22nd. Song Sohee is scheduled to appear at "2026 Lovesome (LOVESOME)" in April to continue meeting audiences.
Meanwhile, Authentic includes artists who present sincere music with their own colors, such as HANRORO, Dvwn, Heegyu, and Gu Won-chan. Interest is focused on what kind of synergy the meeting between Song Sohee, who has broken down genre boundaries and pioneered a new musical world, and Authentic will create.
