Mr. Trot 3's Seoul performances concluded successfully.
On Dec. 21–22 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., Mr. Trot 3 held a total of four performances at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul.
Mr. Trot 3 TOP7 (Kim Yong Bin, Son Bin Ah, Cheonrokdam, Chun-gil, Choi Jae Myung, Nam Seung Min, Chu Hyuk Jin) concluded the second nationwide tour concert, which began in Busan and continued for about three months, with the Seoul performances, sharing a deep connection with fans. The seven members, who appeared with an opening VCR video, opened the show brilliantly by consecutively performing popular songs everyone loves: "Sanae", "Dungji", and "Hwanhee," and the audience went wild.
That day the TOP7 greeted the audience, "Hello. We are Mr. Trot 3 TOP7," and applause and cheers echoed through the hall. Chun-gil said, "We have returned with a renewed concert and are ending that long journey together in Seoul," and Nam Seung Min said, "We made many memories while touring the country, and now thinking it's the last one makes me feel sad," showing his honest feelings. Cheonrokdam promised, "I will pour all the energy I've built up into the final stage," and Son Bin Ah cheerfully said, "Since it's the final performance, I will run with you to the end without regret or remorse."
As the first solo performer, Jin Kim Yong Bin gave a great emotional performance with "Lover," Son Bin Ah sang "The Love That Left," and Cheonrokdam delivered a deep resonance with "Your Lamp." Chun-gil heated up the stage with "Mercury Lamp," "Stranger," "Where Is Love," "Your Name," and "Final Concert;" Choi Jae Myung sang "I Loved Only You;" Nam Seung Min performed "Mangbuseok;" and Chu Hyuk Jin passionately sang "Like Fire," "Wildflower," and "Amyeon."
A special stage VCR was shown on the screen, and the TOP7 raised the mood by consecutively performing upbeat songs "Really," "Passion," and "Chalrang Chalrang." After the set, Son Bin Ah asked, "I performed a medley of karaoke favorites — how was it?" and the audience responded with thunderous applause. Nam Seung Min said, "Maybe because it's the last performance, everyone enjoyed it so much and that made me very happy," sharing his thoughts.
The TOP7 spent a joyful time with fans through an event corner called "Read my story," where they received fans' stories and song requests and sang them on the spot.
In the first show, a fan said, "I'm completely trapped by Chun-gil's inescapable charm," and requested "Hapjeong Station exit 5," prompting Chun-gil to sing it on the spot. Kim Yong Bin also moved the audience deeply by singing Joo Hyun-mi's "You Who Go to Memories" at the fan's earnest request. In the second show, Cheonrokdam performed Cho Yong-pil's "Seoul Seoul Seoul," and Chu Hyuk Jin performed Jang Yoon Jeong's "Slow Train to Mokpo" as requested along with the fan's story.
In the third show, Choi Jae Myung performed his song "Yakson," and Son Bin Ah sang Baek Seol-hee's "Spring Days Are Gone." In the fourth show, Nam Seung Min sang Na Hoon-a's "Sanae," and Kim Yong Bin moved the audience by singing Noh Sa-yeon's "Wish" with great feeling.
After the event corner, Kim Yong Bin received big applause by energetically singing the lively tune "Golden Spoon" and Shim Soo-bong's "Binarri." Choi Jae Myung sang "As Flowers Bloom and Wither," "I Got a Lover," and "Yeonriji;" Chun-gil captivated the audience with "Pupils," "I Ache," "Slow Train to Mokpo," and "Where Is Love." Cheonrokdam continued his solo set with "A Life Like a Floating Plant" and "Empty Glass," and Nam Seung Min performed "Hangnyangga" and "Why Cry When You Cry." Kim Yong Bin sang "I Miss You," Chu Hyuk Jin sang "In Front of That House" and "Station," and Son Bin Ah raised the energy with "Thank You."
In the special unit stages, Choi Jae Myung and Nam Seung Min performed "A Tiger Descends the Mountain" and "Boat Song," Cheonrokdam, Chun-gil, and Chu Hyuk Jin performed "Ttaengbeol," and Kim Yong Bin and Son Bin Ah offered a fresh combination with "I'm a Fool," drawing attention. In the Jinseonmi special stage, Cheonrokdam performed "Blues of Tears" and "Third Hangang Bridge," Son Bin Ah performed "Three Hundred Seconds" and "Who Cries," and Kim Yong Bin moved the audience with "About That Lonely Love" and "Farewell." After Kim Yong Bin's "My Song, My Love to You" stage ended, the TOP7 brought the concert to a climax by performing the final medley songs "Dolido," "APT.," and "Monalisa."
After taking commemorative photos with the audience, the TOP7 said, "We prepared a new song sung by all members together," and ended the Seoul finale by performing the digital single "Goodbye, youth," released on Dec. 22.
Meanwhile, Mr. Trot 3 TOP7's second nationwide tour concert began in Busan on Dec. 13 and was held in Daegu, Yongin, Uijeongbu, Cheonan, Gwangju, Ulsan, Daejeon, Incheon, and Chuncheon, and concluded with the Seoul performances.
