"Ten-million director" Jang Hang-jun launches a suspicious plotting over casting for his next work.
Jang Hang-jun appears in episode 8 of "The Castle of Acting," which will be released on the 23rd, and leads the casting board with clever rhetoric and strategy by promoting "low-budget film production."
Jang Hang-jun, who surpassed 10 million viewers with the film "The man who lives with the king," gathers with Kim Eui-sung and Im Hyung-jun to receive congratulations. While the two expressed willingness to collaborate with Jang Hang-jun, who became a ten-million director, Jang Hang-jun said, "I must not lose my original passion for films," and introduced the ultra-low-budget independent film he is personally planning, "International Lawyer."
Raising expectations by mentioning strong lead candidates, Jang Hang-jun said, "I cast Lee Jun-hyuk, the star of 'The man who lives with the king,' as the lead," which is said to have heated up the atmosphere on set.
With a subtle tension forming between Kim Eui-sung and Im Hyung-jun over the supporting role, the atmosphere reportedly took an unexpected turn when Jang Hang-jun proposed participation in the form of investment instead of an acting fee. After Jang Hang-jun's suggestion, "Let's cause a stir," the actors gradually began to worry more about the "terms of participation" than the work itself, according to reports.
There is interest in what the intention behind the "ultra-low-budget independent film project" proposed by Jang Hang-jun really is, and what results this kind of proposal will lead to.
"The Castle of Acting" is a mockumentary entertainment program in which Kim Eui-sung appears and Im Hyung-jun is in charge of planning, directing, scriptwriting and acting, and it is content that crosses the boundary between acting and reality based on actual conversations among actors. Previously Park Jeongmin, Woo Hyun, Park Hae-jun, Lee Dong-hwi and Jin Seo-yeon appeared and drew attention, and in episode 8 the hidden side of Jang Hang-jun's casting strategy is revealed, raising expectations that another unfolding amid variables will take place.
Episode 8 of "The Castle of Acting," featuring Jang Hang-jun, will be released through VIVO TV at 6 p.m. on the 23rd.
