Actor Yoo Ji-tae shared behind-the-scenes stories from the film The King's Warden.
On the 23rd, tvN's Yu Quiz on the Block (hereafter "Yu Quiz") released a teaser video titled "Yoo Ji-tae, who became Han Myeong-hoe himself in The King's Warden, behind-the-scenes of the shoot and even children with 24 million views as dance champions!"
Yoo Ji-tae laughed, "Wasn't it Yu Quiz that made The King's Warden a 10 million ticket film?"
Yu Jae-seok asked, "Did you struggle because director Jang Hang-jun was lighthearted?" Yoo Ji-tae said, "I had to push my acting seriously, but when it became 'Yoo Ji-tae, a symbol of Korean cinema,' my concentration was broken."
Also, when Yu Jae-seok asked, "What was the method for gaining weight to express Han Myeong-hoe's intimidation?" Yoo Ji-tae said, "I ate foolishly a lot," and confessed, "I developed hyperlipidemia, acute gastritis, and colitis."
He added that taking on villain roles more often was because of his wife, actress Kim Hyo-jin. Yoo Ji-tae said, "I felt like it was being too glorified," leaving viewers curious about what he said next.
Meanwhile, Yu Quiz will air on the 25th at 8:45 p.m.
