Jung Yi-chan played the role of Shin Ju-shin, chief of neurosurgery at Nua Hospital, in TV CHOSUN's weekend miniseries "Doctor Shin" (written by Phoebe (Im Seong-han), directed by Lee Seung-hoon), which aired on the 21st and 22nd.
In the drama, Shin Ju-shin is a genius doctor with brain surgery skills close to a miracle, who previously performed a shocking operation to swap the brains of his lover Momo (Baek Seora) and his prospective mother-in-law Hyun Ran-hee (Song Ji In).
Shin Ju-shin was confused and eventually cried when Momo, who woke up after the surgery, spoke in Hyun Ran-hee's manner of speaking. With just his eyes, Shin Ju-shin vividly recalled the times he had loved Momo, evoking pity.
