"Manitto Club" revealed an anecdote in which Park Boyoung received a luxury gift from Cha Taehyun.
On the evening of the 22nd, the MBC entertainment program "Manitto Club" aired the first appearance of the third-generation manittos.
The third-generation manittos were composed of actors Park Boyoung, Cha Taehyun, Kang Hoon, Lee Sun-bin and broadcaster Hwang Kwanghee. Among them, starting with octopus Park Boyoung, pufferfish Cha Taehyun, seal Kang Hoon, shrimp Hwang Kwanghee, crab Lee Sun-bin, and then octopus Park Boyoung in that order, the manittos were decided.
In particular, Park Boyoung was delighted to learn that the manitto she would take care of was Cha Taehyun. Upon scratching the card and seeing Cha Taehyun's eyes, she exclaimed with joy, "Ah, it's my dad!"
She said, "At holidays I send meat to my father. He has a calm personality. No matter what you give him, he doesn't really get overly excited or extremely pleased. He just exercises," which drew laughter.
For that reason, Park Boyoung thought of a nameplate and a seal as gifts for Cha Taehyun. Recently, Cha Taehyun became the CEO after founding an agency with actor Zo In-sung. However, a mother-of-pearl nameplate could not be produced that day. So Park Boyoung planned to decorate the manitto box and make a nameplate herself, and at least hurriedly had a mother-of-pearl seal made.
Park Boyoung reminisced as she looked at the seal case lined with red fabric so that ink would not show. She recalled, "When we worked together on my first film 'Speed Scandal,' my dad gave me a Louis Vuitton red wallet as a gift. They said if you have a red wallet money comes in. He filled it with cash and gave it to me, and seeing the red made me think of that," she recalled, creating a heartwarming moment.
