"My Little Old Boy" actor Park Jin Hee showcased her eco-queen side along with a cheerful daily life with her husband, a judge five years her junior.
On the 22nd broadcast of SBS' My Little Old Boy (hereinafter "My Little Old Boy"), Park Jin Hee appeared as a special guest.
Park Jin Hee said of quarrels with her judge husband, "Logically or reasonably my husband would be superior, but how can you beat a woman in a war of words?" which drew laughter. She added that her husband also admits that he cannot win against his wife.
She also explained the trick to getting her husband to do housework: "The seniors said you should give him a mission. 'Honey, it would be good if you replaced the fluorescent light by Wednesday.' I used that method and it was neatly resolved."
Park Jin Hee, who said she usually collects rainwater to clean and showers with plain water, said, "Basically I don't use heating and cooling carelessly. In winter it's 20 degrees," showing her sincerity about energy saving. Thanks to these efforts, Park Jin Hee's home was even selected as the "overwhelming No. 1" household in the apartment complex for using the least electricity and gas.
Park Jin Hee, who said her 13-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son practice thrift even more than their mother, revealed an anecdote in which her daughter, who had no chair, suggested taking a chair from the recycling center. Park Jin Hee added, "That heart was so beautiful," expressing deep emotion at her daughter's admirable consideration for the environment.
