'Sadanggwi' Kim Tae-won targeted Jun Hyun-moo's Daesang award.
Kim Tae-won recalled the time 10 years ago when he worked with Jun Hyun-moo on Men's Qualification on the KBS 2TV variety show 'Boss, Your Ears Are Donkey Ears,' which aired on the afternoon of the 22nd.
On that day's broadcast, announcer Eom Ji-in said, "Jun Hyun-moo kept his promise." The promise was made when Jun Hyun-moo visited the announcer's office after winning the Daesang at last year's KBS Entertainment Awards, and he had promised to give them a top-of-the-line coffee machine.
Eom Ji-in explained that Jun Hyun-moo remembered what he had said back then and gave them a coffee machine. Kim Tae-won was surprised and asked about the price, and Jun Hyun-moo frankly said, "around 2.7 million won."
Then Kim Tae-won mentioned, "They say Jun Hyun-moo won some award," and Kim Sook informed him that Jun Hyun-moo had won last year's Entertainment Awards. Kim Tae-won said, "How is that possible?" sounding bewildered and prompting laughter.
Kim Tae-won referred to the time he appeared with Jun Hyun-moo on Men's Qualification in the past. He said, "Back then it felt like we didn't know much and the atmosphere was stunned. So Hyung Kyung-gyu scolded us a lot," adding, "It wasn't fun back then. The Daesang is—" and he aimed that remark at him. Jun Hyun-moo was embarrassed but burst out laughing.
In the footage shown next, Eom Ji-in visited Seoul National University, the alma mater of announcer junior Park Hyo-jin. Park Hyo-jin explained, "I occasionally keep in touch with juniors from the broadcasting club, and many friends said they wanted to meet senior Eom Ji-in, so I invited them," and Eom Ji-in proudly said, "Many friends preparing for broadcasting take me as a role model."
But Kim Tae-won did not know Eom Ji-in's name. He honestly said, "I don't know her name," and told Kim Sook, "She looks exactly like Kim Sook."
When announcer Park Hyo-jin reminisced about her days in the university broadcasting club, Jun Hyun-moo also mentioned his time in the university broadcasting club. Footage of Jun Hyun-moo as a college student was shown on screen, and Kim Sook and the panel burst into laughter. When someone reacted, "Why didn't you become a comedian?" Jun Hyun-moo said, "At that time I thought I was too handsome to be a comedian. I thought my face would be wasted," which drew attention.
