On the 21st, the MBC variety show 'Omniscient Interfering View' aired Nana's daily life, marking her first appearance on a variety show in 10 years.
In that episode, cameras captured self-defense items such as gas pistols placed throughout Nana's home, drawing attention. The cast referred to the past incident, and Nana directly explained the situation at the time.
Nana said, "A robber came in at dawn. I was sleeping, but the dogs barked so much that my mother woke up and went out. He came in threatening my mother. There was a physical struggle," and relayed the situation at the time. She added, "It was very dangerous, but rather than thinking about the danger, I was overwhelmingly focused on getting my mother out quickly."
She also revealed the aftereffects of the incident. Nana said, "My mother fainted. She was so shocked," and said, "Because it was at home, we couldn't fully rest at home, and after that I couldn't go back home even once."
She also mentioned the changes in her life afterward. She said, "I felt it would be good to prepare for possible situations, so I developed the habit of putting them wherever they are visible," and said, "If there is something to give as a gift, I ended up giving self-defense items."
She also expressed gratitude toward her manager. Nana said, "So Hyunjin takes great care of my mother. Whenever she goes somewhere I always take Hyunjin with me, and when I have work Hyunjin even slept with my mother. I was very grateful. That was possible because she is also a woman."
Meanwhile, Nana experienced an incident last November in which she was threatened by a man in his 30s who broke into her home. At the time, the man committed the crime while demanding money, and a clash occurred during the subduing process. The police later judged Nana's actions to be self-defense and decided not to indict. However, the assailant filed a complaint against Nana claiming attempted murder and other charges, and Nana's side countered by filing a criminal complaint for false accusation against him.<
