"Manitto Club" revealed Cha Taehyun's second daughter.
On the evening of the 22nd, the MBC entertainment program "Manitto Club" aired the first appearance of the third-generation manittos. The third-generation manittos were composed of actors Park Boyoung, Cha Taehyun, Kang Hoon, Lee Sun-bin and broadcaster Hwang Kwanghee. Among them, starting with octopus Park Boyoung, pufferfish Cha Taehyun, seal Kang Hoon, shrimp Hwang Kwanghee, crab Lee Sun-bin, and octopus Park Boyoung again, the manittos were chosen.
Among them, Cha Taehyun recognized Kang Hoon's identity as soon as he saw him. Laughing, Cha Taehyun said, "I saw him too much," and it was revealed that he had formed a connection with Kang Hoon by appearing together on entertainment programs in the past. He decided to give a gift at a famous egg tart shop in Apgujeong, Seoul, for Kang Hoon.
In particular, he summoned his second daughter, who was on school break, to hide his identity. He wanted his daughter to hand the egg tart to Kang Hoon before she went to hagwon.
Calling his daughter out half-asleep, Cha Taehyun drove while saying, "If we're caught, it's like you and I are strangers. If you run away by bus or anywhere, I'll come pick you up," which drew laughter. In response, Cha Taehyun's second daughter shouted, "I'm going to tell mom everything. What you just said. Taking a daughter who just woke up!" and added to the laughter.
Grumbling but determined, Cha Taehyun's second daughter, Tae-eun, succeeded in delivering the gift to Kang Hoon. While Kang Hoon was worrying about how to give the gift from the wall across the building where his manitto Hwang Kwanghee was, she nonchalantly approached and plopped the gift down in front of Kang Hoon.
Kang Hoon chased after her, but Tae-eun ran quickly to the car where her father, Cha Taehyun, was. Kang Hoon ran up to the car but did not discover Cha Taehyun inside and, bewildered, said, "Was it a woman?" as he successfully received the gift. Kang Hoon also tasted the egg tart and said, "I once traveled to Europe with close friends and it reminded me of that time. It's really delicious," which boosted his spirits.
Relieved by his daughter's successful mission, Cha Taehyun finally relaxed. Cha Taehyun promised pocket money as a success fee, saying, "Dad will send 30,000 won," and added, "If you succeed again later, I'll send another 30,000 won." Cha Taehyun's daughter, mentioning her evening schedule after hagwon, said, "Call me again at 7:30. I want to get another 30,000 won," which added more laughter.
Cha Taehyun married his first love in 2006 and built a loving family with three children: one son and two daughters. His second daughter, Tae-eun, learned rhythmic gymnastics and once made headlines for nearly appearing with Son Yeon-jae at a gala show in the past.
Moreover, in January of this year, on the SBS entertainment program "Mumu X Chacha-Uballadio," Cha Taehyun said, "My second daughter is somewhat interested in the entertainment industry," and added, "When there's no work, I thought I could ride along with her a bit." Attention was drawn to Cha Taehyun's second daughter, who also appeared on "Manitto Club".
