The group IVE has achieved its sixth music video to surpass 100 million views.
According to agency Starship Entertainment, on the 21st the music video for the title track "HEYA" from IVE's second EP album IVE SWITCH surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
With this, IVE now has a total of six music videos with over 100 million views.
IVE has placed six music videos in the 100 million-plus views club, from its debut song "ELEVEN" through "HEYA," once again proving the "IVE syndrome." In particular, "LOVE DIVE," "After LIKE" and "IM" have all easily surpassed 300 million views, suggesting enduring popularity over time.
Released on April 29, 2024, "HEYA" is a song that blends narrative lyrics inspired by folklore with powerful hip-hop sounds, leaving a strong impression on fans and many listeners. After its release it not only settled into the top ranks of major domestic music charts but also stood out on the iTunes Top Song chart, solidifying its global presence.
The music video exceeded 10 million views within 19 hours of its release and drew strong responses such as reaching No. 1 on YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide, and "HEYA" also succeeded in long-term chart performance by placing high on the 2024 Melon year-end top 100 chart.
IVE successfully held its fourth fan concert "Dive into IVE" at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 21st, and will meet fans again through a performance today (the 22nd) at 4 p.m. The concert will be streamed live via the global distribution platform Beyond LIVE.
