Choo Sung Hoon's wife and model Shiho Yano recalled her time on The Return of SUPERMAN and expressed apologies she felt toward her daughter Choo Sa-rang.
On the 21st, a video featuring Shiho Yano as a guest was posted on the YouTube channel Yoonjure. In the video, she talked with model Jang Yoon-ju about dating, marriage and parenting.
That day Jang Yoon-ju asked, "Were there things you felt sorry to your daughter about as a mother?" and Shiho Yano answered, "Yes," recalling the past.
Shiho Yano said, "When Choo Sa-rang was young during 'The Return of SUPERMAN,' it was a time when she wanted to be with her mother," and added, "But I was away from home about three days every three weeks for three years."
She continued, "So Sa-rang formed the perception that 'mom disappears for three days,'" and confessed, "I wonder if she felt anxious thinking, 'Won't my mom disappear?'"
She went on, "Even now Sa-rang tries to monopolize her mother. She often expresses, 'Look at me,'" and added, "I think it's an effect that came from me leaving home for three days at a time back then."
Shiho Yano also described her changed daily life. She said, "Parenting has an end," and added, "After age 10, children prefer friends more. These days Sa-rang often stays at a friend's house."
She honestly shared, "When I go home and the child is not there, I feel, 'Ah, parenting has an end.'"
Meanwhile, Shiho Yano married Choo Sung Hoon in 2009 and they have a daughter, Choo Sa-rang. The family received great love through KBS2 The Return of SUPERMAN.
