Christina recalled preparing for her wedding 20 years ago.
On the 21st, MBN's "Sokpuri Show Dongchimi" (hereinafter Dongchimi) invited foreign daughters-in-law to discuss the topic "It's hard to live as a K-daughter-in-law."
Christina recalled the time she told her parents about her marriage 20 years ago. She said, "When I said I was coming to Korea, my parents were very worried. It was a time 20 years ago when North Korea was firing missiles. My parents were so worried and neighbors asked if their daughter was all right," she said. Christina said, "At that time I confused Korea and North Korea. In the end I got my parents' permission and came to Korea."
She continued, "My mother-in-law never imagined a foreign daughter-in-law. Because I was a foreigner, my mother-in-law opposed it. My husband handled it well. He said, 'If mom doesn't allow it, I will send Christina back to Italy and live happily with mom for the rest of my life.' He said, 'Get married,'" she added, drawing laughter.
