SBS Fri-Sat drama 'Shin I-rang law office' (directed by Shin Jung-hoon, written by Kim Ga-young·Kang Cheol-gyu, produced by Mongjakso) is an adventure of catharsis that oddly and warmly resolves the grudges of the dead: 'the possessed lawyer' Shin I-rang (Yoo Yeon-seok) and 'the cold-blooded elite lawyer' Han Na-hyun (Esom), who puts everything on the line to win. Jun Suk-ho plays Shin I-rang's brother-in-law and the romantic office manager of Shin I-rang law office, Yoon Bong-soo.
Bong-soo (played by Jun Suk-ho) worried about his brother-in-law I-rang's strange behavior of talking to the air and expressed concern to his mother-in-law Gyeong-hwa (played by Kim Mi-kyung). Instead, Gyeong-hwa confessed to Bong-soo that I-rang sees ghosts, and Bong-soo's life began to be shaken. At first Bong-soo denied the reality, but after witnessing I-rang suddenly performing a girl group dance in front of him in a possessed state, Bong-soo came to accept I-rang, who sees ghosts.
After Gyeong-hwa asked him to take care of I-rang, Bong-soo, who is afraid of ghosts but fond of his brother-in-law, became I-rang's reliable aide and embarked on full-scale 'brother-in-law care.' Having begun full cooperation with I-rang, Bong-soo deeply empathized with the ghosts' stories and shed tears, showing a humane warmth as an 'extreme F type.' The synergy was maximized by the fantastic chemistry presented by the timid yet loving brother-in-law and the possessed brother-in-law, raising expectations for the two men's activities.
Jun Suk-ho vividly portrayed Yoon Bong-soo with his characteristic sly tone and life-attached acting. His well-timed reactions elicited laughter, and his harmless charm, which makes people smile just by looking at him, amplified the character's lovability. From a family-oriented figure who cherishes his family to an emotionally rich 'extreme F' who reddens his eyes at the story of a young deceased person, Jun Suk-ho's delicate character portrayal naturally blended these aspects and cutely completed Yoon Bong-soo's warm side. In this way, Jun Suk-ho served as a source of energy that flexibly refreshed the tone of the drama, raising both the fun and immersion of the piece.
