Comedian Yang Sang-guk expressed gratitude for the help from Yu Jae-seok and his colleagues during his father's funeral.
On the 21st episode of MBC's Hangout With Yoo, the "country bumpkins' heyday, war of money in Jinyoung" segment was released. That day Yang Sang-guk visited his hometown Gimhae Jinyoung with Yu Jae-seok, Haha, Joo Woo-jae and Heo Kyunghwan.
While moving in the car, Yang Sang-guk recalled his father's funeral, saying, "Not many people have been to Jinyoung. Kyunghwan hyung came when my father passed away."
He continued, "There were really a lot of wreaths at the time, and Yu Jae-seok sunbaenim's wreath stood out," and added, "So I said, 'Remove all of them. Leave only Yu Jae-seok sunbaenim's.'" which drew attention.
Yang Sang-guk expressed sincere thanks, saying, "My peers also came a lot. Staying with me until dawn the next day was a great help."
Recalling the time, Heo Kyunghwan said, "On the second day of the funeral all the peers gathered, and they asked me to do my catchphrase," which provoked laughter. He reenacted the skit, saying, "My father is going to a good place~ Isn't this exactly the taste of going to a good place?" which made the scene erupt in laughter.
Hearing this, Yang Sang-guk again expressed gratitude, saying, "What my peers did for me then was really a great help," and Haha added, "I'm envious of how comedians come together more at moments like this," further warming the atmosphere.
