Actor Son Tae-young and her husband Kwon Sang-woo conducted an on-site visit to a luxury mansion ahead of moving plans.
On the 21st, the Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young channel uploaded a video titled "Son Tae-young♥Kwon Sang-woo went to see a $37 billion mansion owned by an American tycoon with two swimming pools."
That day Son Tae-young said, "Today is real estate. We're going to look at houses. We're not moving right away, but we made a reservation in advance and we're going to visit. These days listings are scarce, so when one comes up it's precious and goes quickly. So people write letters to the owner and such. They say they hope the owner will sell the house to them. There are various ways. It's a bit unusual, but we're going to check it out."
Later, Son Tae-young and Kwon Sang-woo visited the mansion of the family that co-founded high-end fashion brand Elie Tahari. The mansion, on a 2,400-pyeong lot and three stories high, showcased an ultra-luxurious scale valued at about 36.9 billion won, drawing admiration.
Kwon Sang-woo expressed amazement, saying, "Doesn't it look like the house from Hansel and Gretel?" The two were surprised, saying, "It's definitely different because it's the home of a family of a famous American designer," and "It's a house that just anyone can't see."
The walls were hand-painted, and even the wallpaper and molding completed by hand were full of care. Not only that, despite marble floors, the entire area had underfloor heating. Lavish crystal chandeliers decorated rooms throughout the house, and each space was furnished with a different concept. Son Tae-young exclaimed, "This place is just so nice. Just looking around here is really a visual treat. Such a pretty house..."
Seeing the domed chandelier, Kwon Sang-woo could not keep his mouth shut, saying, "This alone could be worth about 1.5 billion won?" He then joked with concern, "I shouldn't bring Riho here."
A large swimming pool occupied the first floor, and there was also a pool and cabana outdoors. Son Tae-young said, "It feels like looking at a work of art." Kwon Sang-woo also said, "If it's like this I won't leave the house."
