Actor Park Bo Gum met a variety of customers on Bogum Magical and showed the growth of the "sprout barber".
tvN variety show Bogum Magical (directed by Son Sujeong) is a program that follows Park Bo Gum, who holds a national barber license, and his close friend Lee Sang Yi, and Kwak Dong- yeon as they run a special barbershop in a remote rural village that trims both hair and hearts.
On the broadcast on the 20th, Park Bo Gum, for the first time, received fellow actor Kwak Dong- yeon as a customer rather than village residents and began a haircut. Because he was trimming the hair of a younger brother he cherishes, Park Bo Gum applied even more meticulous care, but at the finishing stage he showed a contrary streak and revealed an irresistible mischievousness. Kwak Dong- yeon finally expressed satisfaction with the completed styling and left a praising review.
While everyone was painting a mural to create a photo zone for residents, actor Kim So Hyun appeared as a one-day part-timer in front of "Geom.Dong.Ee (Park Bo Gum+Kwak Dong- yeon+Lee Sang Yi)". Park Bo Gum, who smiled brightly at the pleasant reunion, repeatedly exclaimed "So pretty" at Kim So Hyun's new hairstyle. He also carefully taught Kim So Hyun the tasks and, shining with the "real siblings" chemistry, filled the barbershop with a pleasant atmosphere.
Meanwhile, after hearing the news of Bogum Magical's opening, the barbershop became crowded when a set of three siblings came from a neighboring village. Park Bo Gum skillfully handled the dense hair and coarse texture of the eldest of the three, a boy about to enter middle school, completing a much neater hairstyle, and even showed a warm back-and-forth with the taciturn adolescent student. Afterwards he broke a sweat cutting the hair of the youngest of the three, an 18-month-old baby who could barely hold himself up, and together with Kim So Hyun they sang lullabies to soothe him, showcasing fantastic teamwork.
For the first time, high school customers also visited Bogum Magical. Moved by a female high school student's wish to cut her long hair and donate it, Park Bo Gum cautiously began a bob cut, and he contributed to a definite image change by styling a sophisticated look in line with trends. Park Bo Gum listened to the high school students' fresh love stories with a pleased smile, and offered words of encouragement and advice as an adult and life mentor to a customer facing a career decision.
Thus, Park Bo Gum catered to a wide range of customers' needs—from young children to teenagers to close fellow actors—and built joyful memories together through warm and pleasant conversations with his customers.
Bogum Magical, featuring Park Bo Gum, airs every Friday at 8:35 p.m. on tvN.<
