Nam Jin said he had children up to his fourth child to have a son.
On the 21st broadcast of MBN 'Kim Joo-ha's Day & Night' (hereinafter Day & Night), Nam Jin and Jo Hang Jo appeared.
That day Nam Jin said he had children later in life and had four siblings born in consecutive years, which surprised listeners. He said, "Because I'm the eldest grandson I had to have a son, but they kept being daughters. (Although I lived in the United States) I had to report to my mother," saying his mother wanted a son.
Nam Jin added, "When a son finally came out at the end she said, 'Now you have succeeded.' When I was thriving as a singer she never said that. When the fourth was born a son she said I had succeeded. That's because it was the old days."
Nam Jin also did not miss boasting about his daughter. He said, "Our eldest daughter so resembles Kim Joo-ha. She has big, pretty eyes."
