"favorite girl band" QWER (QWER) is coming back.
QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) held an encore concert, "QWER 1st world tour 'ROCKATION : HOMECOMING' encore in Seoul" (hereafter "ROCKATION : HOMECOMING"), for three days starting on the 20th, and during the first-day performance they surprised fans by releasing a spoiler video announcing the release of mini album 4, "CEREMONY".
QWER's comeback comes about 10 months after the release of mini album 3, "I'm on your side, even if the whole world is disharmonious," in June last year. This album is about QWER closing one chapter and beginning a new narrative as they search for their identity as artists.
So far QWER has achieved consecutive hits with every song they released, including "Discord," "Gominjungdok (addicted to worries)," "My name is Clear," and "Holding back tears," dominating top positions on major domestic and international music charts. Among these, "Gominjungdok" ranked No. 1 on YouTube's list of Korea's most popular songs of 2024, and the group cemented its status as the "favorite girl band" by lifting more than 10 trophies at major domestic music award shows.
In particular, having announced a new album at the encore concert that wrapped up their debut world tour spanning eight cities in North America and eight cities in Asia, they expressed their determination to ring the ceremony in the music industry in 2026.
Meanwhile, QWER held the encore concert "ROCKATION : HOMECOMING," which concentrated their musical capabilities, at the Ticketlink Live Arena in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul, for three days starting on the 20th, and will release mini album 4, "CEREMONY," through various music sites at 6 p.m. on April 27.
