Stray Kids, about to mark their eighth anniversary, give a musical gift to the fans who have accompanied their growth on the global music stage.
Stray Kids will release a new digital single, "Star, Light (STAY)" (Star, Light (STAY)), on March 25. Since their official debut on March 25, 2018, they have emphasized their self-producing capabilities, creating their own music to forge a unique identity and repeatedly achieve limitless growth, firmly shining as a global top artist. The new single contains their sincere feelings for the fans who have shown unwavering love and support as Stray Kids rose to the top of the world stage.
Stray Kids and STAY, their fandom, have achieved numerous accomplishments. With the 2022 mini album ODDINARY, they debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard main album chart, the Billboard 200, and continued a record of eight consecutive albums entering at No. 1 through their latest SKZ IT TAPE "DO IT," a historic achievement. This is the first time in the history of the Billboard 200 chart, which has a 70-year tradition since March 1956, and it is regarded as a turning point that demonstrates K-pop's strength while redefining their stature.
Also on the Billboard 200, ODDINARY charted for 7 weeks, MAXIDENT for 6 weeks, ★★★★★ (5-STAR) for 16 weeks, 樂-STAR (Rock-Star) for 14 weeks, ATE for 15 weeks, SKZHOP HIPTAPE "合 (HOP)" for 13 weeks, KARMA for 19 weeks, and DO IT for 12 weeks, adding the remarkable record of a combined total of 102 weeks on the chart for the eight albums.
Alongside their U.S. Billboard achievements, they recently placed second—the highest rank for a K-pop artist—in the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) 2025 annual global charts' global album sales chart, and they were the only K-pop artist to reach the top 10 on the global artist chart and the global album chart. They also shone at the 40th Japan Gold Disc Awards, hosted by the Recording Industry Association of Japan, winning four awards—the most ever for an overseas artist.
They continue the momentum from their own largest-scale world tour, dominATE, which drew to a spectacular close in 2025 as they played stadiums around the world. On June 6 (local time) and Sept. 11 they will appear at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York and Rock in Rio in Brazil, respectively, headlining and connecting with global audiences.
Prior to that, they will hold their sixth official fan meeting, Stray Kids 6TH FANMEETING 'STAY in Our Little House,' four times at Incheon Inspire Arena on March 28 and 29 and April 4 and 5, meeting fans. The new song prepared for fans to mark their eighth anniversary, "Star, Light (STAY)," will be available on major music sites at 1 p.m. on March 25.
