Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant actor Park Shin-yang revealed his exhibition hall set up in Andong, North Gyeongsang.
On the afternoon of the 20th, KBS2's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (hereinafter "Fun-Staurant") unexpectedly welcomed Park Shin-yang, a national treasure-level actor of Korea who has produced one hit after another.
Park Shin-yang said about becoming a painter, "While acting, I developed aftereffects in my lower back and reached a point where I couldn't get up," revealing that a serious past decline in his health was the catalyst for starting to paint.
Along with the exhibition reveal, his everyday habits also drew attention. Park Shin-yang said, "I don't cook much. Eating doesn't seem that important to me. Actually, I'd prefer to take it as a pill," adding that he makes an exception and cooks only when entertaining others.
Among the works was a special painting filled with longing from his study abroad years. It was a work depicting Kirill Kero, a friend and fellow actor who studied with him in Russia. Park Shin-yang said, "When we were together in Russia, the time we studied together was something I missed a lot," expressing affectionate feelings toward his friend.
Park Shin-yang, who had been checking the condition of his friend, now a national actor in Russia, only through social media, showed genuine emotion and warmed hearts when he watched the surprise video letter from Kirill Kero unveiled that day.
