'믿듣퍼' Monsta X (MONSTA X: Shownu·Minhyuk·Kihyun·Hyungwon·Jooheon·IM) intensified excitement for their U.S. release with distinctive concept photos.
Their agency Starship Entertainment recently released concept photos for the 'ALIVE' version of Monsta X's U.S. release Unfold, which is set to be released on April 3, on Monsta X's official social media channels.
In the revealed photos, Monsta X presented a white-tone styling in an immaculate white space, completing a sophisticated and refined mood. In sensuous staging that recalled a fashion lookbook, the members captured attention by projecting a powerful aura with only their gazes and various poses, without special props or equipment.
In the group shots, Monsta X's presence as a team stood out even more. Standing in a line and staring at the camera or turning their backs conveyed Monsta X's energy and vivacity, highlighting the group's free colors more clearly and stirring fans' excitement.
In particular, showing a charm contrasting with the previously released 'THIRST' version concept photos, a spoiler video that included an inst version presumed to be an album track also drew attention. The upbeat yet dynamically controlled house sound suggested a different mood from before and foreshadowed a broader musical spectrum, raising expectations.
Unfold is the group's U.S. album released about four years after their second U.S. full-length album, The Dreaming, which came out in December 2021. Monsta X earlier pre-released tracks from the album to heighten comeback anticipation. Having expanded their musical range with the deeper emotional 'baby Blue' and the storybook freshness of 'growing Pains,' which depict Monsta X's unique narrative and brightness, attention is focused on what new music they will present.
Having successfully kicked off their world tour THE X : NEXUS in Seoul in January, Monsta X recently expanded the tour to Asia by holding 2026 Monsta X world tour [The X : Nexus] in Bangkok at the Thunder Dome in Thailand. With plans to continue their global activities through various performances, including a show in Malaysia on the 28th, attention is also focused on their U.S. release.
Meanwhile, Monsta X's U.S. release Unfold will be available on global music platforms at 12 a.m. on April 3 in each country.
