Park Bo Gum broke into a sweat cutting the youngest customer's hair at 18 months old.
On the 20th episode of the tvN variety show 'Bogum Magical,' the seventh day of the barbershop's operations was revealed.
In that episode, Park Bo Gum was shown trimming the hair of the youngest customer, 18 months old, who was getting a haircut for the first time in his life.
After putting a haircut cape on the child customer, Kim So Hyun carefully seated the child in the chair, but the child began to fuss as soon as he sat down, seeming uncomfortable. Faced with the unexpected situation, Park Bo Gum showed a puzzled expression and said, "How should I cut this?" as he fell into thought.
Ultimately, he asked for help from his eldest brother, who will be in first year of middle school, and attempted the cut holding the child in his arms. Sitting on his brother's lap, the child gradually calmed down and briefly stopped fussing.
Park Bo Gum expressed his nervousness, saying, "I've cut children's hair twice before, but this is the first time for such a tiny one." He tried cutting again, but the child still showed resistance, and the situation was not easy.
To attract the child's attention instead of using the haircut cape, Park Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun used pink and white cloths, danced, and even performed a spray bottle show to divert the child's gaze. However, winning over the 18-month-old customer's heart was not easy.
A hint came from an unexpected place. When Park Bo Gum asked, "Who usually cuts his hair?" the brother answered, "Dad sat him in the stroller and cut it." Hearing this, the two placed the child in a stroller, wrapped a towel around him, and attempted the cut at the hair salon door.
Still, the child kept fussing, and Park Bo Gum finally began singing the nursery rhyme "Three bears." Kim So Hyun continued the song with him to soothe the child, and the two naturally showed a display that evoked "couple chemistry."
Hearing the song, the child gradually calmed and began to nod off, and only then was a cut possible. The first haircut of the difficult "youngest customer" was completed after the two people's efforts.
