Actor Kim Jeong-hwa's husband, Yoo Eun-seong, shared an update following his diagnosis of brain cancer.
On the 20th, a video titled 'It's a relief, really: the director's test results report and the announcement scene of the three-line acrostic that produced legendary gags' was released on the YouTube channel 'Channel Kim Jeong-hwa'.
In the video, Kim Jeong-hwa shared an update together with her husband Yoo Eun-seong. First, when asked about his condition, Yoo Eun-seong said, "Yesterday I went to the hospital for the first time in a while to hear the results of the brain test. At the hospital they said the tumor is not moving and is doing well. It seems we are a bit away from the nerve-wracking situation. I am grateful because many people prayed and cheered for us, and it seems a good result came out."
Kim Jeong-hwa shared news of a cafe and a performance as updates. Kim Jeong-hwa explained, "I am currently performing in a play called 'Schumann' and am living almost at the theater. I perform one day and handle cafe work the next, going back and forth."
Kim Jeong-hwa and Yoo Eun-seong also expressed their aspirations regarding traveling to the United States and doing relief work. The two said, "We are matching one-on-one with starving children to save them. It seems our role is to let many people know how they can help," and added, "We will go to the United States to introduce the things we want to share so people can experience the moving feelings we felt and enjoy a happier life. We will report back after we return."
Meanwhile, Kim Jeong-hwa and Yoo Eun-seong married on Aug. 24, 2013, and have two sons. Last year Yoo Eun-seong revealed he had been diagnosed with brain cancer, causing sadness, but recently he said the cancer cells have not grown significantly compared with last year.
