'Lee Hoseon's cider' Kim Ji-min leads immersion with relentless revelations, relatable reality, and a roller-coaster–level real talk that ultimately brings her to tears.
On Sat., the 21st, at 10 a.m., SBS Plus' Lee Hoseon's cider episode 12 will focus in earnest on so-called "siphoners," people who ride on others' effort and lives to gain benefits. As stories that alone make one's blood pressure rise pour in, Kim Ji-min also opens up about her own experience, showing strong empathy.
That day Kim Ji-min brings up a shocking anecdote she experienced during her past Gag Concert days. Kim Ji-min recalled that while preparing the "Ppom Entertainment" segment, which spawned the catchphrase "You know the feeling," a senior who had been sitting behind her suddenly turned his chair and naturally inserted himself. Kim Ji-min said, "He inserted himself as if he had been there from the start and began to shape his own material. That person won the grand prize that year," surprising everyone.
Then Kim Ji-min said, "It was Kim Jun-Ho," naming the unexpected person and causing Lee Hoseon to roar with laughter. Moreover, when Lee Hoseon sympathized, saying, "How much did you curse him behind his back?" she nodded and added, "I cursed. His nickname is 'Kim Siphon,'" delivering the clincher and provoking peals of laughter.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-min, known for her straightforwardness and strong presence, surprised everyone by shedding tears for the first time in 12 recordings of the "cider" program when the astonishing story of an in-studio guest was revealed. Attention is focused on what the shocking story was that moved not only Kim Ji-min but everyone present to tears.
The production team said, "In this episode Kim Ji-min laughs and gets angry throughout the recording and ultimately shows tears," and added, "Please look forward to this episode, which reveals realistic "siphoner" types that anyone might have experienced at least once and even high-intensity stories that leave listeners speechless."
Separately, Kim Ji-min recently attracted attention by revealing a harrowing accident on her YouTube channel. She explained the situation at the time: "I slipped while taking a half bath in the bathroom and hit my face hard on the sink," and "I almost lost my nose or teeth." She went on, "It has been about four days since the accident, and on the second day only one corner of my mouth lifted. I was scared and ran to my older brother and said, 'I can't smile,'" recounting the tense moment. Fortunately, she is reportedly in the process of recovering.
