DAY6 (DAY6) Wonpil will hold a solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in May.
JYP Entertainment on March 19 in the afternoon released a poster image for Wonpil's solo concert 'WONPIL SOLO CONCERT 'Unpiltered'' (Unpiltered) on DAY6's official SNS channels. According to it, Wonpil will hold a solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, for three days from May 1 to May 3 and connect with the audience.
The concert will have a presale for My Day (fan club name: My Day) sixth-term fans at 8 p.m. on April 6, and general tickets will go on sale at 8 p.m. on the 9th. This solo performance comes about 4 years and 2 months after Wonpil's first solo concert Pilmography in March 2022, drawing intense interest from fans. Known for conveying delicate sensitivity and a lyrical, rich voice through his music, Wonpil is expected to showcase the skills he has built up and deliver a highly polished performance as a solo musician.
Ahead of the solo concert, he will release a new mini album Unpiltered and make a comeback on March 30. Prior to that, teasers such as the track list, concept film and photos have been released sequentially, and at 12 a.m. on the 20th he posted Unpiltered Records, content that candidly captures the thoughts and feelings he felt through this album, continuing the momentum. Through that content, he previewed the story of the new record that aims to capture himself as he is, guiding listeners to immerse more deeply in Wonpil's music and narrative.
The new record Unpiltered, released about four years after the full-length album Pilmography, contains a total of seven tracks led by the title track Sarangbyeongdong, including Toxic Love, I became an adult, Up All Night, Step by Step, Not a million flowers but, and Piano. Wonpil contributed to the lyrics and composition of all the tracks on the new album, showcasing his musicality.
Meanwhile, Wonpil's mini album Unpiltered and the title track Sarangbyeongdong will be available on various music sites at 6 p.m. on March 30.
