Red Velvet member Irene (SM Entertainment) is set to show a deep musical world with her first full-length solo album.
Irene's first full-length album "Biggest Fan" consists of 10 tracks, and in addition to the upbeat title track of the same name that carries a positive message, listeners can look forward to a variety of other songs that showcase Irene's wide musical spectrum.
First, "Don't Wanna Get Up" is an electro-pop song based on house with subtle synth sounds, and over the fresh and smooth accompaniment, the narrator's story of experiencing a transcendent state beyond limits, unbound by any emotion, blends in to create a mysterious immersion.
Also, "SPIT IT OUT" is a pop dance track whose bass, strings and various instrumental sounds create an intense and grand mood, and with lyrics that say it's okay to honestly express all negative emotions amid the song's dynamically unfolding flow, it delivers a thrilling catharsis to listeners.
Another track, "Wasteland," is a pop song that evokes a mysterious, deep sense of space as if wandering through a dream, and the lyrics depict a journey to an ideal place where one can exist as their true self, with an impressive message of determination to move forward while keeping the comfort gained there.
Today (19th) at 12 a.m., the final teaser image and mood clip opened on Red Velvet's official SNS channels captured Irene calmly tidying up scattered switches and props on a dismantling set, organizing past traces and presenting a more relaxed and unhurried atmosphere than before that caught the eye.
Irene's first full-length album "Biggest Fan" will also be released as a physical album on the 30th.
