The group Cravity (CRAVITY: Serim. Allen. Jeongmo. Woobin. Wonjin. Minhee. Hyeongjun. Taeyoung. Seongmin) continues its global activities with a new Japanese release.
According to agency Starship Entertainment, Cravity released the Japanese record BLAST OUT at midnight on the 18th across various music sites.
The album includes the pre-released title track BLAST OUT, the included track じゃない？(Koijanai?) - Don't you love me? -, Paradox, and the instrumental version of each song, for a total of six tracks.
The title track BLAST OUT captures the energy of bursting out and expressing the complex emotions that exist in everyone's heart. Unlike the tracks Cravity previously released in Japanese, it is characterized by a contrasting dark atmosphere, with powerful rapping from the members and bold vocals layered over intense beats, leaving a strong impression.
The BLAST OUT music video, released simultaneously with the album, caught fans' attention with a striking concept armed with techwear style. Scenes followed of members, as if made targets of something, exploring a space filled with surveillance monitors, and likening BLAST OUT (explosion) to a time bomb, the countdown to the blast was portrayed thrillingly to heighten tension. In addition, the precise synchronized choreography once again showcased the presence of 'Perf0vity'.
This album offers musical variety with different atmospheres, including BLAST OUT, the track じゃない？(Koijanai?) - Don't you love me? - which was first pre-released in January, and Paradox, which Serim, Allen and Woobin participated in writing and Woobin participated in composing. Expectations are growing for Cravity's activities as they unfold with an expanded spectrum and new concepts.
Cravity, which made its official Japanese debut in July 2023, recorded No. 1 on the Tower Records Japan all-store comprehensive weekly singles chart upon the release of its debut single Groovy (Japanese ver.) and proved its local popularity with strong responses such as ranking No. 3 on the Oricon weekly singles chart. To commemorate the release of BLAST OUT, they will hold a mini performance event at Lalaport Toyosu in Japan on the 20th to present stages of the new songs.
In addition, they will hold a solo Japan concert at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on May 15 and 16. As Cravity has consistently communicated with global fans through various stages and broadcast activities, attention is focused on their future activities.
