The group 82MAJOR will make a comeback at the end of April.
82MAJOR (Namsungmo·Park Seok-jun·Yun Ye-chan·Jo Seong-il·Hwang Seong-bin·Kim Do-gyun) released a comeback teasing video at 12:00 a.m. on X (formerly Twitter) on the 19th.
The released video contains silhouettes of 82MAJOR members looking down. It then added immersion with cinematic visuals accompanied by the ticking of a clock, and in the latter part of the video the phrase "82MAJOR NEW ALBUM 2026.04" appeared, officially confirming an April comeback.
This comeback comes about six months after the release of last October's mini album 4, Trophy. 82MAJOR recorded first-week sales of 100,000 copies with their previous release. Especially since all members participated in songwriting and production, solidifying their identity as a self-producing idol group, attention is focused on the musical transformation they will show with this new album.
Recently 82MAJOR has shown a distinctive presence at domestic and international award shows and stages. After being nominated in the "K-pop best new artist" category at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards in the U.S., they went on to win two awards at the 2026 The Awards in Korea. Also, their solo concerts held with each album release started at venues of about 400 seats and have recently sold out roughly 2,000 seats, continuing a steady growth trend.
Their activity in the global market is also notable. They signed a contract with a major Japanese management company and successfully completed fan meetings and concerts there. Following tours in North America and Asia and expanding into Europe, they have demonstrated stage presence befitting the label "performance-oriented idol."
Before the comeback, 82MAJOR will hold the world tour concert "Exceptional : BE BUM" in Paris, France, on the 23rd. They plan to visit overseas fans in Berlin, Germany; Amsterdam, the Netherlands; London, England; and Warsaw, Poland, among other cities.
