The popular YouTube channel Shortbox, created by Metacomedy comedians Kim Won-hoon, Jo Jin-se, and Eom Ji-yoon, is holding an event to commemorate a special moment in its popular segment the long-term relationship series.
On the 18th, Shortbox's YouTube team revealed a wedding invitation featuring Kim Won-hoon and Eom Ji-yoon via social media and the YouTube community, announcing a small fan meeting with a wedding concept.
This fan meeting will serve as the event that crowns the pinnacle of charm of the long-term relationship series, the representative popular segment that made Shortbox what it is today, and has added meaning as a special event to personally meet some subscribers who have followed the content's journey amid years of attention to express gratitude.
The released image draws attention because, as a wedding-themed event, it is formatted like a wedding invitation. Eom Ji-yoon, in a wedding dress, and Kim Won-hoon, in a tuxedo, present the warm visuals of an engaged couple, evoking an actual wedding invitation and fully realizing the fake-but-real wedding concept on April 1, April Fools' Day.
The fan meeting will take place on April 1 at a wedding hall in Gangnam District, Seoul, and will be organized as an event that invites some subscribers as wedding guests, with an emcee, celebratory singers and other special guests expected to attend.
The Shortbox channel currently has 3.82 million subscribers, and the top three most popular videos in the long-term relationship series have surpassed a combined 53.81 million views, drawing explosive interest.
The members are also actively pursuing individual activities. Kim Won-hoon has appeared on various platforms including the Coupang Play series Office Workers, ENA's Jjijigo Bokneun Travel, Nego King season 7, SBS's My Turn, and ENA's It's okay to be directionally challenged, and last year he won the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards rookie award.
Eom Ji-yoon showcases various character content on her YouTube channel Eomjirella and continues activities across television and the screen with works such as the drama Useless Lies, The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival, and the film 30 days.
Jo Jin-se is currently active in the ENA drama New Recruit series and has confirmed his appearance in New Recruit season 4. He is also active not only in comedy but in acting across works such as the drama Useless Lies, A Good Day to Be a Dog, and The Crown Prince Has Disappeared.
