"Dad and I Season 3" Jeon No-min revealed the story of sending his daughter abroad to study at an early age.
On the 18th episode of TV CHOSUN's "Dad and I Season 3," actor Jeon No-min joined as the new dad.
That day Han Hye-jin asked, "Before Jun Hyun-moo, you were the quintessential workaholic. Didn't you constantly take on projects?" Jeon No-min replied, "Actors, after finishing a project, rest for about six months to a year. It's still a bit difficult right now."
Also, Han Hye-jin mentioned his role as the "national cheater" in the drama Love (ft. Marriage & Divorce) and said, "He was really shameless." Co-star Jeon Soo-kyung, who appeared next to him, explained, "He did so many things to deserve it. In season 1 he played my husband; I was a devoted wife, and this person completely betrayed me."
Then Jeon No-min, crowned the "national cheater," shared a bittersweet anecdote. He said, "There is a regular restaurant in the countryside. They used to give me lots of side dishes. But after the broadcast I went there and they threw the side dishes and wouldn't speak to me," which drew laughter.
Jeon No-min recently appeared in writer Im Sung-han's new drama "Doctor Shin." He revealed that he plays a stylist who has an unrequited love for a woman 24 years younger. Hearing this, Jun Hyun-moo responded, "You'll get slapped there too."
Meanwhile, Jeon No-min, known as a doting father to his daughter, drew attention by describing their special relationship. Jeon No-min expressed his affection, "My daughter especially wouldn't let others tie her hair or dress her. Because I was the one who bathed her and dressed her, she wouldn't let others do it. For example, if her aunt tried to do it, she would take the hair tie and bring it to me, saying I had to do it."
Currently, Jeon No-min's daughter is 32 this year and works as a researcher at a university hospital in the United States. Jeon No-min expressed gratitude, "My youngest sister lives in Chicago, so she has been taking care of her since then. Now she thinks of her as a parent, and I'm very thankful to my youngest sister."
Above all, Jeon No-min's daughter went to study alone in the United States at the young age of 9. When asked why, Jeon No-min confessed, "It's a personal matter, but I didn't want to show her the sight of us getting divorced."
He added, "It wasn't the kind of marriage I had imagined, so I decided not to show my daughter us getting divorced. I sorted things out and later went to explain."
