The released photo showed a clean tray with no food left. It drew attention because it was a photo released after the earlier food-waste controversy.
Earlier, on the 18th, Park Su-ji released a dining video. At the time she showed herself putting down her spoon after leaving more than half of the rice, soup and side dishes, along with the caption "I only eat exactly half a bowl of rice!"
Some netizens criticized the food waste, saying "It's a shame to waste food," while others argued "It's understandable as part of a diet," sparking debate.
Afterward, Park Su-ji shared another update by posting the tray she had finished without leaving anything behind.
Park Su-ji is the older biological sister of singer Ryu Philip and Mina's sister-in-law; she drew attention for losing weight from 146 kg to the 70 kg range in the past. However, she also honestly confessed that she recently experienced rebound weight gain.
