Kim Jang Hoon revealed a shocking past, recounting an episode from his school days that led to dropping out of high school.
On the 17th, a video titled 'Kim Jang Hoon episode 2 (turbulent school days! The reason for leaving high school..!)' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Song Seung-hwan's Wonderful Life.' The video shows Kim Jang Hoon appearing as a guest and talking about his school days.
That day Kim Jang Hoon said, "I crammed and was around fifth to eighth place," noting he was not a student who was bad at studying. But his school days were far from ordinary. He added, "I was part of something like a violent circle," recalling how rough things were at the time.
In particular, the reason he decided to drop out was even more shocking. Kim Jang Hoon said, "A friend was slapped by the homeroom teacher during gym class because he couldn't pay tuition," adding, "I have a pathological inability to stand someone using force to suppress someone who cannot fight back." He recalled, "I was a first-year high school student, so I didn't have the strength to beat a teacher."
On top of that, gambling problems piled up. He said, "Friends came to my house and started playing hwatu, and later they brought each school's tuition money and the stakes grew." Eventually the gambling game held in the back room of a Chinese restaurant was discovered after a police report, and because the stakes exceeded 100,000 won, the school was contacted.
Handed over to the student affairs office, he said, "I said 'I'm not going, I'm not going' while being hit," referencing a situation reminiscent of the film Maljukgeori Massacre. After that, Kim Jang Hoon decided to leave school on his own.
He also described the violent atmosphere at the school. Kim Jang Hoon, who revealed an anecdote about a brawl, said, "Four of us went out and the others were 20," and surprised everyone by saying, "At that time someone shouted 'It's a corpse!' and the situation was defused."
In the end he added an episode, saying, "I thought I would have to cause an irreversible accident," and recalled breaking a school window and trying to leave home. But he said his mother responded calmly, "If you can't go, you can't go."<
