The band Latency (LATENCY) shared their thoughts on releasing a new album.
Latency (Heeyeon, ZZONE, 현진, Ha-eun, Semi) held a release showcase for their first album, LATE O'CLOCK, on the 18th at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul.
With the pre-release single 'It was love' and a striking combination of members and musical transformation that provided a fresh stimulus, Latency is a band formed by members who accumulated stage experience through different girl group activities. ZZONE, Ha-eun and Semi were active with Signature, Hyunjin was active with LOONA and Rusemble, and the guitarist Heeyeon, already famous for her genius playing, joined as a hidden card to complete the final puzzle.
ZZONE said, "Today is a new start, and I feel very happy and excited. Because I began with a dream musically, I worked hard not to disappoint the public. I hope this day proves the result and becomes a great start."
Semi said, "As a new challenge I'm very nervous, but the excitement is just as great. I will show you a cooler, more developed side from now on," and Hyunjin said, "I'm grateful to everyone who joined this meaningful event for an album we prepared hard. I will show a great side."
Ha-eun said, "I'm moved that an album filled with affection has been released to the world. I hope the music reaches many people, and although I'm excited I also feel responsibility and pressure, so I will work harder so expectations are not disappointed," and Heeyeon said, "It's officially my first time participating in team activities, so I'm more excited and nervous. I will work to repay the many people who waited."
Latency's first mini album, LATE O'CLOCK, will be released at 6 p.m. on various music sites that day.
