Actor Zin Taihyun issued a statement after suggestions poured in recommending in vitro fertilization for him and his wife.
On the 18th, Zin Taihyun wrote, "My wife and I always love, cherish, give thanks to, respect, acknowledge, consider and put each other first," and continued, "Many fans still tell us 'don't give up on having a second child' and DM us with good hospitals and procedure methods. We haven't given up; we have now let go for the sake of the love between the two of us."
He added, "If we had wanted to rely on medicine such as good procedures, we would have done so long ago. Even now, because I love my wife more than the existence of children, I have no intention of making her suffer physically or mentally in the future. There have been great wounds we could not speak of, my wife's great pain, my surgery — not only good things have happened. Still, we hold on to the saying that suffering is a blessing and we are getting through it," saying they would focus more on their love.
Earlier, Zin Taihyun and Park Si-eun met on the 2010 drama 'The sweetness of the pumpkin flower' and developed into lovers, marrying in 2015. The two adopted university student Se-yeon, whom they met while volunteering, as their daughter Park Da-vida, and they also revealed the daily life of their three-family household through SBS "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny."
The two have experienced two miscarriages. Although it was a painful experience, they did not hide it and received much support by making it public. Appearing on the 2021 "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2" homecoming special, they revealed they had become pregnant in November 2020 but experienced a missed miscarriage a month later. They went through another pain in May 2021.
