Top Chinese actress Yao Chen (姚晨, Yao Chen) belatedly revealed her second divorce.
On the 17th local time, Yao Chen and her ex-husband Zhao Wu issued a joint statement announcing their divorce.
In the statement, both sides said, "We ended our marital relationship several years ago. At that time the i-dle were still young so we could not make it public, and only today (the 17th) have we issued a joint statement," explaining the delayed announcement of the divorce and the reason.
They said that although the marriage has ended, their companionship as parents and filmmakers will continue. Accordingly, Yao Chen and Zhao Wu said they will continue to raise their two children together with love and that they "have established a film company dedicated to art films," adding that "we will continue to work together for our i-dle and in our work."
