Comedian Nam Chang Hee is taking a belated honeymoon with his wife Yun Young Kyung.
On the 18th, a representative of the agency TN Entertainment told OSEN, "Mr. Nam Chang Hee will leave for a honeymoon in the Tuscany region of Italy starting tomorrow (19th). After coordinating schedules with the production team, 'Mr. Radio' will be maintained in a special DJ format, and it is expected that there will be no disruption to the other programs he is currently appearing on," the agency said officially.
Nam Chang Hee married actor Yun Young Kyung on the 22nd of last month at the Shilla Hotel Dynasty Hall in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. Yun Young Kyung is nine years younger than Nam Chang Hee, and after winning a top prize at the 83rd Nationwide Chunhyang Beauty Pageant, she acted in the film Ode to My Father and the drama Ms. Temper & Nam Jung‑Gi, among other works.
Particularly, Yun Young Kyung was initially known as a non-celebrity, but it later emerged that she had appeared on MBC variety show Infinite Challenge in 2014, which drew attention. At the time, on the Infinite Challenge special "Hongchul, let's get married," she attracted notice for her resemblance to singer IU and was nicknamed "Hangang IU," and that person was Yun Young Kyung.
However, she has since retired from the entertainment industry. Her current job is also as a public official; she works as an Assistant Deputy Director in the public relations division of Dongdaemun District Office in Seoul and is known to appear on the official Dongdaemun District Office YouTube channel.
The Tuscany region of Italy, which Nam Chang Hee and Yun Young Kyung chose for their honeymoon, was also chosen as the honeymoon destination by Nam Chang Hee's close friend Cho Sae-ho, who served as the wedding emcee.
