Comedian Shin Bong-Sun expressed her deep affection for her great aunt, who is battling illness.
On the 17th, Shin Bong-Sun posted several photos on her social media along with the message that "I went to Changwon for the first time last weekend."
She continued, "A few months ago my great aunt's health rapidly declined, and she was moved to a hospital in Masan," and "the weakened aunt was lying in a condition I had never seen before, and I felt so sorry and worried that I only cried," she said. She added to the poignancy by saying, "Even amid the confusion, she kept asking if I had eaten."
The released photos showed a restaurant run by relatives and the food served there. Amid a simple spread including noodles and Chungmu gimbap, a warm atmosphere conveyed the long-standing family touch passed down over time.
Shin Bong-Sun said, "I kept thinking of my aunt and older sister, whom I couldn't visit often using the excuse that I live far away," and added, "Time passed so quickly that it was a painful weekend, but I was grateful to be able to see them even like this." She continued, "Aunt, thank you for holding on. Sister, thank you for watching over aunt."
