Steven and J.L. of Ahop carried out a photoshoot for Y magazine issue 20.
The pictorial, partially released on the 17th, was carried out with the concept "GAME CHANGER(게임 체인저)". Fitting the meaning that they are the protagonists who will turn the tide of the music scene this year, Steven and J.L. showed intense presence with confident expressions in the pictorial.
The two showed a vibe 180 degrees different from the image they had presented through group activities. In the unit shots facing each other, they created a peculiar tension while completing a harmonious visual balance. In the individual shots, they exuded a more mature masculinity with restrained expressions and charismatic gazes.
In the subsequent interview, the strong chemistry between the two added warmth. J.L. said, "Steven is an older brother I have a lot to learn from. The biggest kick in completing the pictorial was that I did it with brother Steven," showing special affection. Steven also replied, "Fans usually like the combination of the two of us. I look forward to seeing what kind of reaction they will give to our chemistry."
Ahop last year carried out active global activities with their first mini album "WHO WE ARE(후 위 아)" and their second mini album "The Passage(더 패시지)". Riding that momentum, they appeared at various music award shows and proved their growth by raising a total of 10 trophies in their debut year alone.
