Band DAY6 member Wonpil released concept photos for his first solo mini album Unpiltered.
JYP Entertainment posted four teaser images for Wonpil's solo mini album 1st Unpiltered on DAY6's official social media channels on the afternoon of the 16th.
Earlier, Wonpil sequentially released diverse teasing content—including a dreamy mood film, a concept film that captured delicate emotional expression, and a tracklist that showcased his strengths as an emotional singer-songwriter—drawing attention to his solo activities.
In the concept photos released this time, Wonpil revealed a restrained mood with a calm emotional line. Sitting draped on a sofa, he stared at the camera with a drowsy gaze, creating a dreamy atmosphere, and his composed expression left a deep aftertaste, heightening curiosity about the message Wonpil will convey through the new album.
The mini album 1st Unpiltered focuses on naturally unfolding Wonpil's inner self and narrative as they are. Wonpil highlighted his musicality by having his name credited on all tracks included in the new release, including the title track Sarangbyeongdong.
Wonpil's solo mini album 1st Unpiltered and the title track Sarangbyeongdong will be officially released at 6 p.m. on the 30th. Wonpil will then hold a solo concert WONPIL SOLO CONCERT Unpiltered for three days from May 1 to May 3.
