On the 16th episode of the SBS variety show 'Ani Geunde Jinjja', KwakTube appeared and shared recent news about his marriage, newlywed life and upcoming childbirth.
KwakTube, who recently married last October, said, "Didn't you get married in a hurry?" to which he honestly replied, "It is true we married in a hurry. I was afraid I might not get to marry," drawing laughter. He added, "I originally wanted to get married early."
He said his wife is currently pregnant and noted, "We recently went to the obstetrician together," adding, "There isn't much time left until the birth. We never skip a test and go together. We even did the gestational diabetes test together," showing special affection. He especially recalled the moment they learned about the premarital pregnancy. KwakTube said, "I was really surprised when I heard the pregnancy news over the phone," and added, "The first words were, 'I'm so happy and grateful that we're having a baby.'" He explained, "Our wedding was originally scheduled for May this year, but with talk of a honeymoon baby, we moved it up to last October."
He revealed that the child is a son. KwakTube said, "I hope the baby resembles my wife. I thought it would be nice if the son looked like his mother," and added, "There is a saying that first daughters resemble their fathers, so I couldn't sleep the night before. I was so moved to hear it was a son." He then took out a 3D ultrasound photo from his pocket and said, "I was so moved when I saw the photo. I always carry it with me," adding, "You can see the face after 20 weeks, but even though it's a baby, it already has my features," which drew laughter.
The cast who saw it reacted, "It's a spitting image of the dad," and KwakTube also revealed his love story with his wife. He said, "We met through a blind date. That was when I barely had any subscribers," and added, "My wife's ideal type was Jeong Hyung Don. She said she liked cute and funny people, so at our first meeting I put on a three-hour comedy show," which sent the studio into laughter.
