It added, "Blue Stage places the protection of its artists' rights and reputation as a top priority, and we are taking strong legal action without leniency or settlement against all acts that infringe on artists' rights, including spreading false information, malicious slander, insulting posts and defamation," and "We are continuously collecting and monitoring materials related to the posts and comments, and have taken legal action through legal representatives in multiple cases."
The agency said, "During this process, the identities of some authors were identified and investigations were carried out, and there have been cases that have reached indictment. We will strictly respond to any similar cases identified in the future under the same standards," and warned, "Using anonymity to damage an artist's reputation or to spread false information is clearly illegal, and we will hold those responsible to the end."
Meanwhile, Han Ji-sang was embroiled in allegations that he sexually assaulted a female fan identified as Ms. A in early 2020, and at the time Han Ji-sang's side denied the allegation and sued Ms. A for attempted extortion and coercion. However, prosecutors did not indict Ms. A. At the time, Han Ji-sang's side said, "There was no act of assault against the other person's will, and this was confirmed during the police investigation."
However, the controversy resurfaced after the appointment of an instructor for voice class in the spring semester of 2026 in the Department of Acting Arts at Sungkyunkwan University was canceled. The department said it decided to replace the instructor considering the poster controversy and the students' complaints.
