Actor Ku Sung-hwan honestly confessed his feelings after saying goodbye to Kkot-bun.
On the 16th, a new video titled "bury memories in your heart and let go of regrets." was released on the YouTube channel "Kkot-bun (with Ku Sung-hwan)."
That day Ku Sung-hwan first filmed an exotic background for the camera and explained, "I turned on the video in a strange place and wanted to show this place to you. This is Red Rock in the United States. It's my first time here today and the sunlight is so nice. When you watch American movies, a killer always comes out in a place like this and someone fat like me becomes the first victim. Bears might appear, and it's also a good place for snakes to live."
Ku Sung-hwan's YouTube video was released about two months after the previous one. The most recent video before that was a Yangyang, Gangwon-do travel video posted on Jan. 28, when Ku Sung-hwan had toured the winter sea with Kkot-bun.
However, after Kkot-bun crossed the rainbow bridge, video releases were paused for a while. Ku Sung-hwan delivered the sad news on his personal social media in February, "Even as I write this I don't want to accept it and I can't believe it. My daughter and younger sister, my partner Kkot-bun, crossed the rainbow bridge on Feb. 14."
Ku Sung-hwan said, "Kkot-bun received so much love, and I wanted to say thank you for all the love given in this life! If I had known you would leave like this, I would have fed you more delicious food and taken you on more walks; only regret remains."
Then Ku Sung-hwan gave a final farewell to Kkot-bun, saying, "You were so kind and full of charm, Kkot-bun.. Thank you, I'm sorry and I love you so, so much. Let's definitely meet again someday! Eat lots of delicious food there, play and run happily with friends and be happy.. I really love you so, so much."
Ku Sung-hwan also said, "I sincerely thank everyone who has loved and cared for Kkot-bun," and added, "I will pull myself together and return in good health." On the post, condolences from Lee Jang-woo, Code Kunst and Lee Ju-seung, who appeared with him on I Live Alone, followed in the comments.
After Kkot-bun left, Ku Sung-hwan shared his recent condition through the video. He lamented, "Many people wondered how I was doing, but it's probably the same for everyone. There are good days and bad days in life. I buried it in my heart and left it there. For about two weeks I really almost died."
He added, "But in my own way I walk a lot, and keep walking, see a lot of good things, think good thoughts, think happy thoughts, and try to live happily," and said, "I've fallen in love with the charm of walking these days. I love walking so much. I walk four hours, sometimes five or six hours a day. The more I walk, the more good energy seems to come."
