Actor Jung Il Woo shared news that he is living alone in Japan.
On the 15th, a video titled "Very simple solo living cooking, pasta recipe #umeboshiPasta #soloLiving #cooking #verySimple #umeboshi" was uploaded to Jung Il Woo's YouTube channel '1il1woo'.
That day Jung Il Woo said "Today I'm going to make vongole pasta by adding the umeboshi I bought when I went on a business trip to Hamamatsu. Vongole is so simple that it will be ready soon," and showed himself cooking in his Japanese solo apartment.
He said, "I'm currently living alone in Japan, so I'm making various things to survive on my own." He added, "Umeboshi is usually eaten in something like ochazuke, but for some reason I thought it would pair well with vongole pasta. So this is my first attempt today, but should I try making it?" showing enthusiasm.
After quickly finishing the pasta, Jung Il Woo immediately tasted it and repeatedly expressed his satisfaction. He said, "This is really delicious. It's slightly tangy like adding a bit of lemon, and when the seafood aroma of the vongole comes through the flavor really pops—it's truly delicious," expressing his satisfaction.
He went on, "Even people who don't like umeboshi much would probably enjoy it if they eat it like this. The recipe is very simple, so I'll post the recipe in the description box. If you all try making it at home, I think you'll really enjoy it. These days Korean supermarkets sell a lot of umeboshi, so when you visit Japan, buy some umeboshi and make this at home to experience a really unique taste," he emphasized.
