KBS' Documentary 3 Days, which captured the most sincere scenes of our neighbors through three days of observation, will make a surprise return starting April 6.
In 2022, it was viewers who called Documentary 3 Days back onto the road after the program briefly paused in the long tunnel of COVID-19. The petition against cancellation sent by 1,027 viewers at the time of the finale remained an ember in the producers' hearts. The unchanged affection proven through the summer 2025 'Andong Station: a 10-year promise' became the occasion for restarting Documentary 3 Days. The conviction that the quiet stories of ordinary people steadfastly keeping their places are the most urgent comfort for us led to the return of Documentary 3 Days.
The first destination of the restarted Documentary 3 Days is the 273 bus that crosses a university district in Seoul. Fourteen years ago, it carried the dreams and worries of countless young people as the 'youth bus,' and the program followed its trajectory again. The scenes inside the bus where clumsy passion and vague anxiety intersect remain ongoing across more than a decade. Documentary 3 Days' cameras will capture the vivid voices of 2026 youths cultivating today at their own paces.
CP Lee Ji-woon said the program's planning intention was, "I hope viewers tired of flashy casting and sensational, unrealistic setups will find the renewed comfort in watching Documentary 3 Days that 'we are all better people than we think.'"
Carrying on the program's field-focused legacy while insightfully observing the changes of the times, Documentary 3 Days will begin its first broadcast on April 6 and air every Monday at 8:30 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
