'Heart Signal 4' alum influencer Kim Ji-young directly addressed the controversy over her way of speaking.
Recently, Kim Ji-young revealed on her YouTube channel, "I often see comments that my way of speaking is uncomfortable when I'm with my husband." She went on, "I don't really know why I do it either. I must just get so happy that my tongue kind of twists," and shared her honest feelings.
She then smiled and said, "You can't go back in time and tell my past self to stop… this is something," and added, "But I will try to improve little by little."
Earlier, after getting married Kim Ji-young has shared newlywed daily life and dates with her husband on YouTube. In particular, her playful, cutesy way of speaking during conversations drew attention, but some netizens expressed discomfort, saying the lisping sound was unpleasant and that the manner of speaking was excessive.
After Kim Ji-young personally expressed her position and her willingness to change, netizens have responded with support, saying things like "cute is part of the charm," "it looks nice," and "is there really a need to change?"
