The TVING original "Yumi's Cells season 3" Kim Jaewon's cells begin to move even in low-power mode.
The TVING original "Yumi's Cells season 3," which will be released on Apr. 13 (directed by Lee Sang-yeop, written by Song Jae-jung·Kim Kyung, provided by TVING), on the 17th released the "Sunrook On-Off teaser video," in which the cells of Sunrook (played by Kim Jaewon), the "homebody with a twist," meet Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun) and find energy even outside the house.
Returning after 3 years, "Yumi's Cells season 3" captures a cell-stirring empathy romance about laughing, crying and falling in love once again because of an unexpected person who arrives like a bolt from the blue into the uneventful life of Yumi, who has become a star writer. Centered on Kim Go-eun, who played "Yumi herself," the addition of rising young actor Kim Jaewon and the reunion of trusted director Lee Sang-yeop and writers Song Jae-jung·Kim Kyung raise expectations.
Previously, the "Yumi On-Off teaser video," which foreshadowed a romance between an older and younger partner in which Yumi's previously dull heart becomes soft again with the appearance of Sunrook, stirred hot interest. Meanwhile, the newly released "Sunrook On-Off teaser video" piques curiosity by revealing a twist hidden behind Sunrook's usually calm and rational side as the PD in charge of Yumi.
Sunrook is a PD at Julie Publishing editorial department who delivers harsh truths that don't match his sweet face. By Yumi's description, Sunrook is "the kind of person whose face says calm," but in fact he keeps the cute secret of being a "homebody" who lives in low-power mode outside the house. Outside, he lives in low-power mode, barely maintaining one battery bar that could run out at any moment. Even to Yumi's polite "The weather is so nice, isn't it?" small talk, Sunrook answers tersely with "It is." The moment he arrives home, however, he changes 180 degrees. As soon as he enters, Sunrook's cells move excitedly and the cell village lights up brightly. Like Yumi, he happily enjoys eating frozen dumplings alone, saying "Perfect," and his cute side cheering while watching a baseball broadcast brings a smile.
Sunrook, who describes himself as a confirmed homebody, begins to change after meeting Yumi. Even in low-power mode his cells start to move, and for some reason his battery remains "fully charged" outside as well, full of energy. He sometimes takes the initiative, saying "Contact me anytime if it doesn't work out," and when Yumi says, "I'll try it alone. I won't bother you," Sunrook responds, "You won't be bothered, will you?" His change delivers a "heartthrob" and raises expectations for an unpredictable romance between an older and younger partner.
