Group Red Velvet member Irene (of SM Entertainment) showcases a diverse vocal charm with her first full-length album.
Irene's first full-length album "Biggest Fan" will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 30th. This album consists of a total of 10 tracks of various moods, including the title track of the same name.
The included song "Face To Face" is an R&B pop song with dreamy, grand synths and a sense of space in its sound, and its lyrics depict the process of recognizing and accepting oneself as is rather than trying to change oneself; Irene's calm yet deeply lingering vocals further complete the song's mood.
Another included track, "Million Miles Away," is a pop dance song that features a retro mood, diverse synth sounds, and a lively rhythm; its lyrics capture the moments of suddenly leaving everyday life for unfamiliar places, conveying a sense of freedom, and Irene's gently flowing, flexible vocals add a soft charm to the song.
Also, "Black Halo" is a medium-tempo R&B pop song whose chilly keyboard sounds, tension-filled effects, and grand gospel harmonies create immersion; its lyrics read like a monologue about letting go of vain expectations and hopes, and Irene's vocals, shifting between chest voice and head voice, blend to carry the song like a thrilling narrative.
Today (the 17th) at 12 a.m., Red Velvet's official SNS channel opened a second teaser image and a mood clip, drawing attention by portraying the moment Irene realizes she can become her own "Biggest Fan" as she encounters numerous versions of herself in a space filled with herself.
Irene's first full-length album "Biggest Fan" will also be released as a record on the 30th, and it is currently available for pre-order at various online and offline record stores.
