VERIVERY member Kangmin revealed a more mature charm ahead of his solo debut.
Kangmin completed a fresh atmosphere by taking on various concepts in the April issue pictorial of fashion magazine Singles.
The released photos captured Kangmin's diverse charms. Kangmin looked straight ahead wearing a sleeveless top and a hat pulled down, showing off a sophisticated visual with intense eyes. He also created a deeper mood with a striking red background and rider jacket styling. The styling, which captured both maturity and trendiness, revealed Kangmin's unique personality.
In an interview conducted along with the pictorial shoot, Kangmin candidly said about his solo debut, "Through this album I wanted to show the many sides of the person Kangmin. I want to communicate more closely with fans through music."
He went on to express his future goals, saying, "I want to show memorable stages so that long after time has passed people can look back and smile thinking, 'Those days when we liked Kangmin were truly happy.' I want to become an artist with my own color," revealing his affection for fans.
Kangmin kicked off performances in Seoul on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and then held '2026 KANGMIN FANMEETING 璨綠時光 : 찬란한 빛으로 물든' in Hong Kong, Osaka, Yokohama and Taipei, successfully completing his first global solo fanmeeting tour since debut.
He is also continuing activities that cross music and acting by appearing as the lead character Ion in the Kitz premium short-form drama 'Jumpboy LIVE'.
Kangmin will release his first solo single album since debut, 'Free Falling', on the 26th, marking the start of full-fledged solo activities seven years after his debut.
