JYP Entertainment (hereafter JYP) rookie boy group KickFlip will make a comeback with the title track "I want to be annoying to the eye."
KickFlip will officially release their fourth mini album My First Kick on April 6. JYP posted a new album tracklist video and images on the group's official social media channels at 12 a.m. on March 17.
According to the tracklist, My First Kick will include a total of seven tracks starting with the title track "I want to be annoying to the eye," followed by "Twenty," "Stup!d," "Upside down," "Scroll," "Roar," and "My Direction." Having offered refreshing energy through the pre-released "Twenty" ahead of the new album's official release, expectations are focused on the group's further developed musical capabilities to be showcased in the new album.
Starting with their debut album Flip it, Kick it!, mini album 2 Kick Out, Flip Now!, mini album 3 My First Flip, and the digital single From KickFlip, To WeFlip, the members, who have consistently participated in songwriting and production, appear in the credits for all tracks including the new album's title track, expressing KickFlip's unique personality.
After the third mini album My First Flip, which depicted a pleasant first love, the fourth mini album released about seven months later captures the spring of being clumsy because everything is new at age 20 and the continuing stories of first love. KickFlip, with all members at the threshold of their 20s, will return to fans with youthful stories full of excitement.
KickFlip's fourth mini album My First Kick and the title track "I want to be annoying to the eye," which will color the music scene sweetly this spring, will be available on music sites at 6 p.m. on April 6. On the release day at 7 p.m. there will be an Mnet M2 comeback show and at 8 p.m. a comeback showcase.
